Jessica Sheehan

Jessica Sheehan has served children and youth over the past 30 years across multiple systems of care, with deep expertise in child abuse, trauma, and child development. As a former Forensic Interviewer at a child abuse intervention center, she conducted over 500 interviews on behalf of law enforcement and child protective services. Over the past decade, Jessica has testified in more than 30 criminal court cases, grand jury hearings, and child protection proceedings, continuing to serve as an expert witness even after transitioning from her forensic role in 2021.

She has served as a Guardian ad Litem with CASA, participated on multidisciplinary teams reviewing over 8,000 suspected abuse and neglect cases, and was a member of her local Child Fatality Review Board. Jessica was also part of the Domestic Violence Response Team and co-conducted a statewide Department of Justice (DOJ) training alongside her county’s District Attorney. She has led school and community-based trainings on child sexual abuse prevention, problematic sexual behavior in children, and how to talk to children about sensitive topics.

Her roles have included Therapeutic Foster Parent, Foster Parent Recruiter and Mentor, foster parent support group leader, and trainer for the 27-hour licensing curriculum.

Jessica is also a three-time bestselling author, certified hypnotherapist, and an experienced interviewer and media host. She has interviewed some of the most influential thought leaders of our time, including Lisa Nichols, Dr. John Gray, and Dr. John DeMartini, among others. Her articles and interviews have been featured across numerous major city and national media outlets.

Jessica currently hosts Thriving Women Talk on e360tv, co-hosts Unfiltered Parenting on Binge TV, and previously co-hosted three seasons of Children’s Lives Matter on e360tv. While she currently works in publishing, publicity, and show production, she continues to serve her community as a part-time substitute teacher. In recognition of her lifelong contributions to child advocacy, Jessica was honored with the White House Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024 and the Heart of Humanity Award.
